Rain is a song about facing drought and how people who live on the land rely on rain for their livelihoods and future.
“I started to write this song in the middle of the big dry spell a couple of years ago while traveling up the New England Highway. The sparse dry landscape broke my heart and it sparked a thought that we often forget how much we depend on the rain until we need it most. We have been through a lot as a nation and in times of need we should always remind ourselves to look out for each other, help and pray where needed.” Dan.
